Survey Results: THE MOST IMPORTANT EQUIPMENT FOR SERVICE TRUCKS
Survey respondents were asked to pick the two most important pieces of equipment on their service vehicles, out of air compressors, cranes, generators, welders, or other.
A significant portion of respondents chose “air compressor” as one of their top two most important pieces of equipment. Generators, cranes, and welders were split closely, with 32%, 31%, and 27% of respondents selecting these pieces of equipment as their top two most important.
The other category includes responses such as hand tools, bucket lifts, liftgates, vacuums, and pumps.
OPERATORS/MECHANICS FAVOR AIR COMPRESSORS
Air compressors ranked even higher in popularity when segmenting the 47 Operators and Mechanics who answered the survey. 94% of these respondents chose air compressor as one of their top two most important pieces of equipment. Interestingly, Operators and Mechanics were the only segment that considered welders to be the second most important piece of equipment on their service truck.

How to Properly Load a Trailer - CURT
This short video will teach you how to properly load a trailer. The most important thing to consider is how the weight of your cargo is distributed onto your trailer. The ideal distribution is to have 60% of the weight in front of the trailer axle, and 40% behind. Its also very important to make sure your cargo is secured properly. Always practice safe towing.

Truck Organization - Weatherguard Tool Box Full Review
Here is my review of the Weatherguard Tool Box Model 127-5-02 - Aluminum Standard Saddle box in Gloss Black for my Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. I've had this toolbox for about 2 years now, and used it in a wide variety of conditions. So far I have been very happy with its performance and quality. I've had many different toolboxes over the years and so far the Weatherguard has been well worth the slight premium you pay.
If you're interested in a full toolbox tour. Please let me know in the description below!

Curt Payload Calculator | BetterWeigh™ Mobile Towing Scale
What is my payload weight? This video provides simple instructions for how to use the Payload function on the CURT BetterWeigh™ mobile towing scale. With this feature, you can get an active readout on your smartphone of the weight of your truck’s payload as you are loading cargo and materials.
The CURT BetterWeigh™ #51701 is a Bluetooth-enabled OBD2 device that wirelessly syncs with your smartphone to provide a variety of vehicle and trailer weights. This includes gross combined weight, payload and tongue weight, as well as weight distribution setup and trailer brake gain.
To measure the weight of your payload with BetterWeigh™, begin by selecting the weight readout range that best suits your vehicle. To change the readout, tap the gear icon and select Payload. Then, choose a weight range.
Next, select the Payload feature from the BetterWeigh™ app homescreen. Make sure your vehicle is parked in the spot where you intend to load it. Get out of the vehicle and tap Ready. Don’t touch the vehicle while it is taking its initial reading.
Once the pitch of the vehicle is measured, you can begin loading your truck bed and get your payload weight in real time.
